Business avant-garde is also safety avant-garde - top marks for the Mercedes EQ EQE from Euro NCAP

The independent European safety organization Euro NCAP has recognized the EQE for its very high level of safety in two respects: The EQE 350+ with optional Driving Assistance Package Plus and head-up display received an overall rating of "very good" in the special assessment for assistance systems. In addition, the EQE achieved the maximum rating of five stars in the Euro NCAP safety rating, based on standard equipment. The principles of Integral Safety, in particular accident safety, apply at the company regardless of the platform. Like all other Mercedes-Benz vehicles, the EQE therefore features a design-resistant passenger cell, special deformation zones and advanced restraint systems. In addition, Mercedes-Benz has developed a multi-stage high-voltage safety concept. The protection concept offers a high level of safety during driving as well as during and after a crash. In the special assessment for assistance systems, Euro NCAP uses the most comprehensive equipment with assistance systems as a basis, i.e. the optional Driving Assistance Package Plus in the case of the EQE. It includes Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Speed Limit Assist, Active Traffic Jam Assist, Active Steering Assist, Active Lane Change Assist, Active Emergency Stop Assist, Active Brake Assist, Evasive Steering Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, PRE-SAFE® PLUS and PRE-SAFE® Impulse Side.
