Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric - Dynamic design language with high aerodynamic efficiency

The Scenic E-Tech Electric is Renault's first electric vehicle to be designed entirely in line with the brand's new design language. Its styling combines typical SUV features with sedan elements such as the low beltline and flowing lines. The side view is characterized by an exciting alternation of curves and sharp contours. Priority in the design of the Scenic E-Tech Electric was given to aerodynamic efficiency. To reduce drag, the airflow is directed around the vehicle from the area below the daytime running lights. At the powerfully styled rear, two vertical edges to the right and left of the bumper also increase aerodynamic efficiency. The 20-inch aluminum wheels of the Scenic E-Tech Electric are also designed for maximum wind slippage thanks to special add-ons that reduce the air intake space. Alternatively, the newcomer to the Renault model family rides on 19-inch wheels, depending on equipment. The flush door openers also improve aerodynamics. The Scenic E-Tech Electric's wide, powerfully shaped mudguards and underride protection at the front and rear lend it a self-assured appearance, while the roof rails add a robust touch. Further design features are the short overhangs and the long, contoured hood.
