"One Love" ban: Rewe ends cooperation with DFB

Following the controversial World Cup ban on the "One Love" armband by world governing body FIFA, Rewe is the first major sponsor to end its cooperation with the DFB. "FIFA's scandalous attitude is absolutely unacceptable to me as CEO of a diverse company and as a soccer fan," said Rewe CEO Lionel Souque. Sporting goods giant adidas also called for a liberal stance in the "one love" discussion.
