The new Honda CR-V - The perfect blend of performance and efficiency

Honda presents a plug-in hybrid drive for the European market for the first time in the new CR-V. The e:PHEV offers a purely electric range of up to 82 km. In addition, the CR-V is also available with a revised and further developed e:HEV full hybrid system. Both drive variants offer lively driving characteristics, improved environmental properties, direct power delivery and reduced cabin noise. At the heart of both drive variants is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with direct injection and Atkinson cycle, which has been extensively modified. The improvements include high-pressure direct injection and a powerful active catalytic converter that responds at low temperatures and improves environmental properties. The enlarged surface area of the exhaust ports increases the power output, while the urethane engine cover, sound and vibration insulation and increased crankshaft rigidity help to improve interior smoothness.
