In the sold-out Munich Olympic Hall, the team of national coach Markus Gaugisch won 29:25 (14:9) against Hungary, taking their unblemished international record in 2023 to six wins. Gaugisch and the two national team players Emily Bölk and Alina Grijseels were visibly satisfied afterwards as they looked ahead to the upcoming finals.
