One year of war: How long will the Ukraine war last?

Źródło:: SAT.1 NORDDEUTSCHLAND (Glomex)

Many people from Ukraine have fled the war in their homeland and now live in northern Germany. Anastasiia Pokuy is one of them. She lives with her sister-in-law and her children in Apen near Oldenburg (Lower Saxony). They try to keep in touch with their relatives as closely as possible by cell phone. After all, their fathers and families remained behind in Ukraine. It has now been a year since Russia invaded Ukraine. Do we have to be prepared for many more years of war? Again and again, politicians in Germany demand that the war be frozen or at least that negotiations be started. Is that an option at the moment? SAT.1 REGIONAL talked about this and more with Susanne Schattenberg, Director of the Research Center for Eastern Europe at the University of Bremen.
