German teams win 4Islands Croatia mountain bike stage race

The 4th and final stage of the 4Islands MTB Croatia was held on the island of Lošinj and took the teams on a 41-kilometer loop around the island with 950 meters of elevation gain. The victory in the men's category went to the German duo Lukas Baum & Georg Egger. They had to admit defeat only on the prologue and are thus the deserved winners after 4 stage victories. Second place went to Hugo Drechou (FRA) and Hans Becking (NED), the podium was completed by Simon Schneller (GER) and Alban Lakata (AUT). A German duo also won the women's race: Bettina Janas and Kim Ames. Second place went to Allesia Nay (SUI) and Liisa Ehrberg (EST), Tanja Priller (GER) and Greta Karasiovaité (LTU) won the bronze medal.
