The new Lexus LBX - Compact SUV targets new market segment in Europe

A new model for a new market segment: With the new LBX, Lexus has for the first time developed a vehicle specifically for the needs and current trends of customers in Europe. The new compact SUV impresses with its high quality and at the same time offers a fresh look. The new LBX is the brand's smallest model to date and offers comfort and technologies normally found in higher vehicle classes. It does not compromise on typical Lexus qualities such as outstanding craftsmanship and omotenashi hospitality for all occupants. The brand's new flagship model is expected to sell 25,000 units in Europe next year. Deliveries of the first vehicles will begin in spring 2024. Another special feature is that the model designation consists of three letters - a privilege previously reserved only for the LFA super sports car. The choice of name therefore underlines Lexus' confidence in the new model. Just as the LFA showed a completely different side of the brand in terms of power and performance, the LBX challenges the status quo and redefines what a compact car has to offer.
