Ferrari unveils its first concept car for the world of virtual motorsport: the Vision Gran Turismo, a single-seater with closed wheel arches. The model undoubtedly has its roots in Maranello's unparalleled racing tradition - the number "75" on the vehicle's flanks is a symbol of this great heritage. With the presentation of the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo, the brand officially concludes the 75th anniversary celebrations of the 125 S, the first Ferrari racing car to pass through the iconic factory gates in 1947. Fittingly for this occasion, the Vision Gran Turismo represents, on the one hand, a significant step for Ferrari in the virtual environment. It will inspire new generations of passionate pilots and enthusiasts here. On the other, the concept car serves as an indication of a redefinition of the Ferrari design language. It embodies a futuristic design manifesto for road and track models from the House of Ferrari - as a maximum expression of formal beauty and innovation. In this way, the Vision Gran Turismo provides a creative impulse for the engineers and the real and virtual drivers of the future. The design of the Vision Gran Turismo was conceived by the Ferrari Centro Stile under the direction of chief designer Flavio Manzoni. The model draws its inspiration from the legendary Ferrari sports prototypes of the 1960s and 1970s. They celebrated countless successes in endurance races, such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which the Cavallino Rampante won no less than nine times, or the 24-hour race at Daytona.
