Deutsche Bahn: Agreement with GDL is an "intelligent compromise"

Deutsche Bahn has described the agreement in the wage dispute with the German Train Drivers' Union (GDL) as an "intelligent compromise". When it comes to the core issue of reducing working hours, employees will be able to choose between a "working time corridor" of 35 to 40 hours per week in 2029, said DB Board Member for Human Resources Martin Seiler in Berlin.
