Jailed mafia boss: Messina Denaro transferred from Sicily to detention center

On Monday evening, jailed mafia boss Matteo Messina Denaro was transferred to the central Italian city of L'Aquila, according to the prosecutor's office. "Diabolik" was on the run for 30 years and is alleged to have been involved, among other things, in the murder of judge and mafia hunter Giovanni Falcone in 1992. The 60-year-old faces multiple life sentences.
