Winter offensive? Russian military leadership completely divided

The Russian leadership is apparently divided over the planned winter offensive in Ukraine. This is according to U.S. assessments. A representative of the U.S. State Department stressed to journalists that "we see contradictory things." For example, parts of the Russian leadership apparently want to conduct further offensives against Ukraine in the winter. Others, he said, have "doubts about Russia's ability to implement such operations."
