Frigate Hessen returned to home port

For nearly three months, the naval personnel of the frigate Hessen were on a dangerous mission. As part of the EU mission, the frigate was in the Red Sea to protect civilian ships from possible attacks by the Houthi militia - apparently with success. On Sunday, the frigate and its crew returned to their home port Wilhelmshaven. Nearly 1,000 family members welcomed the soldiers with joy.
