Elon Musk's Neuralink inserts first human brain implant

The medical technology company Neuralink, founded by technology billionaire Elon Musk, has implanted a brain implant in a patient for the first time since its inception. The patient is recovering well after the procedure on Sunday, the tech billionaire wrote on his online platform X on Monday. The implants are designed to enable people to use their thoughts to operate a smartphone and other computer technology. Neuralink is not the only company working on brain-computer interfaces.
