German Adelheid Morath breaks her collarbone on stage 4 of the Swiss Epic

In the women's race, the handlebars of Adelheid Morath (GER) and Kim Le Court (MRI) came into contact on a forest road. Both went down - Morath could not continue the race with a broken collarbone. Thus, the two defending champions Morath/Janas from Germany were out of the race for this year's overall victory. Kim Le Court was able to finish the race in pain - she finished second together with her teammate Vera Looser. The overall leaders finished about 15min behind the two day winners Katazina Sosna (LTU) and Irina Lützelschwab (SUI). Accordingly, their lead before tomorrow's stage is 35min ahead of Sosna/Lützelschwab who are now in second place.
