The Wacken Festival is in full swing. It's loud, it's weird, and somehow a bit like carnival - just faster, harder, louder and not Alaaf and Helau. As is well known, at the Open Air in Schleswig-Holstein things are not only happening on the stages, there are also some bizarre characters cavorting around on the festival grounds. Above all, it combines one thing: creativity – and an almost insatiable desire to celebrate
