Bentley Motors today unveils the third Bentley coachbuilt of the modern era: the Batur Convertible. Crafted by Mulliner, Bentley's in-house bespoke division and the world's oldest coachbuilder, the Batur Convertible follows the Bacalar barchetta and the Batur coupé, elegantly handcrafted. With the Batur Convertible, Mulliner continues its long tradition of creating truly individual cars, personalized to the desires of each of its extraordinary customers. The Batur Convertible carries forward the innovative design DNA introduced by its coupé sibling, which will ultimately guide the design of future Bentley cars. The Batur Convertible retains the most powerful version of Bentley's iconic W12, a hand-built 6.0-liter twin-turbo engine producing 750 hp that has metaphorically and literally powered Bentley's success over the past two decades. As summer draws to a close, production of this iconic engine will cease, making the Batur Convertible one of the last Bentleys to be equipped with this fantastic powerplant.
