The new Dacia Duster - further enhanced off-road capability in the 4x4 version

Source: AUTOMOTOTV (Glomex)

The new 4x4 version of the Duster is equipped with the new Terrain Control, which offers five driving modes: - AUTO: The transmission automatically distributes power between the front and rear axles, depending on road grip and wheel speed. - SNOW: Optimizes handling on slippery roads with specific ESP and anti-slip settings. - MUD/SAND: for changing terrain. - OFF-ROAD: Offers maximum performance in difficult terrain, similar to the 4x4 "Lock" mode of the current Duster. However, there is the additional advantage that the torque is automatically distributed to the front and rear wheels as required, depending on traction and speed. - ECO: Reduces fuel consumption by regulating the power output of the drive and air conditioning system as well as optimizing the distribution of torque to the front and rear wheels.
