CUPRA DarkRebel Showcar presented at IAA MOBILITY in Munich

CUPRA unveils the design secret of the CUPRA DarkRebel and makes its vision of the automotive future come true. The concept car embodies the maximum provocation of the CUPRA design language and sets new standards in design and performance. It is the first vehicle designed entirely in the virtual space by CUPRA for a future generation of drivers. The CUPRA DarkRebel Showcar is the result of more than 270,000 configurations of the CUPRA Tribe, including brand ambassadors such as FC Barcelona players Alexia Putellas, Marc ter Stegen, and actor Daniel Brühl. The data collected in the online hyper-configurator influenced the final design of the CUPRA DarkRebel Showcar, which now, with the unveiling of the physical version at IAA MOBILITY in Munich, made its way from the virtual to the real world. The outcome is a fully electric, two-seater shooting-brake sports car that reflects the passion and disruptive mindset of the CUPRA brand. Examples include a mysteriously mercurial exterior color, the innovative use of light as a tangible material, and a more consistent focus on sustainability.
