Dacia starts production of the new Jogger Hybrid 140 at the Mioveni site

Production start for Dacia's first hybrid model: The Mioveni plant, located near Pitesti, has begun series production of the Jogger Hybrid 140 model. The first Dacia vehicle with hybrid technology is a slate gray version with seven seats in the Extreme+ trim level. With the Jogger Hybrid 140, Dacia is launching the most affordable family vehicle with hybrid drive. Features of the new model include generous space and extensive equipment. Like all other models of the brand, the Jogger benefits from the know-how of the Renault Group and offers modern technology that systematically enables starting in electric mode and powerful acceleration thanks to immediately available torque. The new Jogger Hybrid 140 allows a range of over 900 kilometers. The traction battery has a warranty of eight years or 160,000 kilometers. The Jogger, which is produced exclusively at the Mioveni site in Romania, has already rolled off the production line in almost 80,000 units. More than 90 percent of the units are destined for export, mainly to the Western European markets. The Dacia Jogger has got off to a very good start in Germany and already achieved 9,500 registrations in 2022. With the new engine, Dacia expects sales to continue to rise.
