The new BMW M2 - Driver assistance systems optimize comfort and safety

A wide range of modern driver assistance systems ensures a targeted increase in comfort on long-distance journeys and optimized safety in confusing traffic situations. The new BMW M2 comes as standard with Park Distance Control with sensors at the front and rear, Cruise Control with brake function as well as Front Collision Warning with brake intervention, Lane Departure Warning including Lane Departure Warning, Attention Assist and the Speed Limit Info system with overtaking ban indicator and manual Speed Limit Assist. The optional Driving Assistant adds lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert and rear collision prevention. Other optional equipment includes Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go function, which in addition to the preferred speed automatically maintains the safety distance to vehicles in front, which can be selected in four stages. A rear-view camera and Parking Assistant including Rear Cross Traffic Assist are also offered as options.
