The TECHNIQ package also offers the sensor-based occupant alert, highway assist 2.0 and emergency brake assist 2.0 including turn, crossover, lane change and evasive maneuver functions. Visual identifiers include privacy glass starting at the B-pillar and matrix LED headlights in pixel design with projection technology that selectively illuminate the road ahead, reducing the risk of glare from oncoming road users. The exterior door handles fold out automatically electrically with the TECHNIQ package, the insulated windshield reduces heat radiation, and the head-up display projects important information onto the windshield. The electrically adjustable front passenger seat with electric lumbar support, heated rear seats for the outer seats and individually adjustable two-tone ambient lighting provide even greater driving comfort. In conjunction with the TECHNIQ package, three option packages are available for individualization in addition to the eleven exterior paint finishes and the glass sunroof as well as 20-inch alloy wheels. The parking package includes the surround view monitor, front, side and rear parking assist with emergency braking function, blind spot assist with monitor display and parking assist with remote control. This enables the vehicle to be parked from the outside or while the driver is sitting in the IONIQ 6. The IONIQ 6 automatically parks in reverse, sideways or diagonally in the corresponding parking spaces.
