Drivers are on the safe side with the all-electric Genesis GV60: The first electric car from the Korean premium brand receives five out of five stars in the current Euro NCAP crash test. This means that all Genesis models tested to date - from the G70 and G80 sedans to the G70 SHOOTING BRAKE and the GV70 and GV80 SUVs - have been awarded the top rating by Europe's renowned independent safety organization. Like the other Genesis models, the Genesis GV60 performs excellently in all Euro NCAP categories. The all-electric SUV scores top marks for adult (89 percent) and child (87 percent) occupant protection as well as for assistance systems (88 percent). The full results of all aspects assessed are listed below. Euro NCAP particularly highlights the impact stability and protection offered by the GV60's passenger cell in frontal collisions and in the side impact test. The model achieves very good results in both areas. Children of all ages - both younger ones in child seats and older ones - are also well protected in the GV60, as confirmed by the high rating. Particular praise was also given to the brand's patented center airbag, which deploys in just 0.03 seconds and protects the driver and front passenger in the event of a side impact.
