3.8 seconds is all the BMW iX M60 needs to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h. The vehement power delivery of its M-specific electric drive continues steadily into high load ranges, so that the increase in speed also remains almost constant right up to the electronically limited maximum value of 250 km/h. The range of the BMW iX M60 determined in the WLTP test cycle is up to 561 kilometers. The debut of the BMW iX M60 marks a milestone in the history of BMW M GmbH, which began 50 years ago. Together with the BMW i4 M50, it embodies the BMW M brand's foray into the electrified performance car segment. The extreme power and precise control of the all-wheel drive system, together with the rapid responses of the actuator-based wheel slip limitation system and an M-specifically tuned chassis technology that includes dual-axle air suspension with automatic level control, provide the kind of dynamism, agility and precision that traditionally characterize the driving experience in a BMW M automobile. The BMW iX M60 is produced together with the other model variants of the all-electric Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) at the BMW Group plant in Dingolfing. The venue for its world premiere was the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas (USA) in January 2022. The global market launch will begin in June 2022.
