The Volvo C40 Recharge has been awarded the highest rating of five stars in the latest Euro NCAP test. This makes the all-electric crossover model one of the safest cars currently on the road - just like all tested Volvo models on the market today. They, too, achieved the top rating of five stars in their respective Euro NCAP procedures. The Volvo C40 Recharge did particularly well in terms of occupant protection and driver assistance systems. Partly responsible for this is the standard safety equipment, which is among the most comprehensive in its segment. The safety and assistance systems help drivers recognize dangerous situations, avoid collisions, stay in their lane and reduce the impact of unintentionally leaving the road. Launched in 2021, the Volvo C40 Recharge is Volvo's second all-electric model. In the coming years, the company plans to launch an entire family of all-electric cars as part of one of the most ambitious electrification plans in the entire automotive industry.
