Ford Pro Presents All-Electric E-Transit Custom

Ford Pro has unveiled the new all-electric E-Transit Custom, which will enter production in the second half of 2023. This marks Ford Pro's announcement of the next major step in the electrification of its commercial vehicles. The purely battery-electric E-Transit Custom and its E-Tourneo Custom counterpart, which is also fully electric, are the first two of a total of four fully electric commercial vehicle models that Ford Pro will launch in Europe by 2024. In the important 1-ton payload class segment, the E-Transit Custom / E-Tourneo Custom are designed to help commercial customers make the switch to electrified commercial vehicles. Ford will release details of the new E-Transit Custom in conjunction with the IAA Transportation show (September 2022). The Ford E-Transit, a light commercial vehicle in the 2-ton payload segment, has already been rolling off the production line since March of this year.
