Nissan is setting the course for a sustainable future and is systematically converting its range to low-emission or zero-emission drive systems as part of its decarbonization course - with six electrified models in Germany and Europe from summer 2022. In this context, Nissan is foregoing investments in Euro 7-compliant pure combustion engines in favor of a new era in mobility. As a result, from 2023, new passenger cars will only be launched in Europe with partially or fully electric powertrains. The company expects that by fiscal 2026, 75% of its new cars in the region will already be on the road electrified. By the end of the decade, the target is 100 percent. These ambitious targets play a critical role in achieving the company's long-term vision, Nissan Ambition 2030.
