50 years after the premiere of the first Civic, Honda presents the eleventh generation of its world-renowned compact model. The vehicle combines performance and efficiency with more interior comfort, an attractive design and a high degree of user-friendliness. Equipped with the e:HEV hybrid drive as standard, the new Civic fulfills Honda's plan to electrify all European volume models by the end of 2022. Honda has implemented a modern concept in the new Civic, which, together with the "Man-Maximum, Machine-Minimum" (M/M) development principle, characterizes the entire design and technological development of the vehicle. The new Civic features a sleek and sporty silhouette. While the bonnet has been lowered by 25mm compared to its predecessor, the larger glass surfaces ensure a light and airy interior. Attractively designed surfaces underline the high-quality character of the model; more pronounced lines emphasize the most important details. The lower window line reinforces the vehicle's assertive stance and improves visibility from the rear seats. Compared to the previous generation Civic, the base of the A-pillar has been moved further back and aligned with the center of the front wheels, giving the vehicle a balanced profile from all angles. The highest point of the roofline is now further forward than on the previous model, and the roof's gentle slope towards the rear gives the Civic the elegant look of a hatchback
