For more than 30 years, the Lexus ES has delighted drivers and passengers with its quiet interior, comfortable ride and luxurious feel. Launched in 1989 along with the flagship LS sedan, the ES is a core model in the premium e-segment, winning over private and business customers alike. Since its launch, Lexus has sold around 2.75 million units of the model series; today, the model is offered in more than 80 countries and regions. After nearly three successful decades, Lexus launched the ES in Western and Central Europe for the first time in 2018. The Japanese premium brand's highly acclaimed GA-K platform forms the basis for the seventh-generation model and allowed designers to push the boundaries of sedan design. The longer wheelbase moved the wheels further into the corners, and the track width could be widened at the front and rear. The flatter hood and elegant coupe-like roofline are also thanks to the platform. The sharply defined rear end is characterized by all-round LED lights.
