The new Opel Astra celebrated its world premiere in Rüsselsheim just a few weeks ago, and the latest generation of the compact class bestseller is already available to order. With its emotional, clear and bold design and innovative top technologies, the completely redeveloped Astra is heading into a new era. However, the entry-level price remains unchanged: the sporty five-door model starts at 22,465 euros (all prices incl. VAT) - not a cent more expensive than the basic version of its predecessor. In return, numerous state-of-the-art assistance systems such as the front collision warning system with automatic hazard braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, speed sign recognition or drowsiness detection are on board as standard in every version. Lively performance is provided here by the 81 kW/110 hp 1.2 three-cylinder turbo gasoline direct injection engine with 6-speed manual transmission.
