The new Kia Sportage - interior and space

Source: AutoMotoTV (Glomex)

The interior of the new Kia Sportage is a driver-centric space with modern design, innovative technologies, premium materials and first-class workmanship. The central and most conspicuous element is an attractively shaped, curved panorama display with two large-format screens (depending on equipment), which is flanked on the sides by air vents with a sporty design. It extends from the driver's side well past the center of the dashboard, giving the cockpit an impressive width and depth. The left screen is the fully digital instrument cluster, whose 31.2 cm (12.3 inch) display with the latest TFT-LCD technology ensures high-precision presentation. To the right of this is the 31.2 cm touchscreen of the navigation system (standard from the Vision version and with the plug-in hybrid, for details see the Infotainment chapter), which is also the central interface for the driver and front passenger for the intuitive operation of a wide range of functions . Below the touchscreen is what is known as a multi-mode control bar: it contains two rotary controls and a row of sensor buttons with which both the infotainment system and the air conditioning are controlled and whose functions can be switched accordingly with a tap of the finger. This double assignment means that both systems can be operated very easily and quickly without having to delve deep into the menus
