Hyundai models achieve top EuroNCAP scores - 2021 Hyundai TUCSON

With the TUCSON, the IONIQ 5 and the BAYON, three new models from Hyundai receive top EuroNCAP scores. The European authority awards both the TUCSON and the IONIQ 5 the maximum possible safety rating of five stars. The Hyundai BAYON is awarded four stars and was particularly convincing in occupant protection for children, where it received the best rating in the test field. EuroNCAP rates four categories: Adult occupant protection, child occupant protection, vulnerable road user protection and assistance systems. The Hyundai TUCSON, which received a five-star rating, did particularly well in the first two categories. The Hyundai IONIQ 5 also did well in the assistance systems category.
