Jaguar Classic brings the legendary C-Type to life with a strictly limited C-Type Continuation Series to celebrate the iconic model's motorsport heritage 70 years after its first victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The groundbreaking car will make its debut at the prestigious Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace on Friday, September 3. The C-Type Continuation is being hand-built at Jaguar Classic Works in Coventry to the specifications of the factory version of the 1953 C-Type that dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans that year and continued the company's run of motorsport success. The Jaguar Classic team has painstakingly researched the history of the C-Type to create the exacting specification of the Continuation, bringing Jaguar's heritage to life through modern production technology and engineering expertise, including the use of the same authentic techniques and construction methods of the time.
