As the next-generation Human Machine Interface (HMI), the fully digital Pure Panel offers customers an intuitive operating experience. Passengers operate an extra-wide touchscreen just like their familiar smartphone. At the same time, frequently used settings such as air conditioning can still be selected directly with just a few switches. Compatible smartphones can be paired "wirelessly" with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard in all model variants. The driver is also supported by state-of-the-art assistance systems ranging from the Intelli-HUD (head-up display) to the Intelli-Drive system. In addition, special technology further increases alertness and safety in moving traffic by warning the driver as soon as he takes his hands off the steering wheel.
