Hospital staff tried to access Kate Middleton's medical records

According to the Mirror, at least one member of staff at the clinic tried to illegally gain access to the Princess of Wales' medical records. This invasion of privacy comes amid ongoing speculation about Middleton's health following her recent surgery. A spokesperson for Kensington Palace told People, "This is a matter for the London Clinic." However, a source told The Mirror that "senior hospital bosses" informed the palace of the security breach. "This is a major security breach and incredibly damaging for the hospital, which has an unblemished reputation for treating members of the royal family. All the medical staff are completely shocked and distraught," the source told the Mirror.
