Three horses were hit and killed by a train in Sauerland during the night. The animals had previously panicked, broken through a fence and got onto the tracks in Arnsberg. This was apparently caused by wild boars in their pasture. This was reported by the federal police. There were no passengers on board the train at the time of the accident. The railroad line had to be closed for more than three hours.
