"Catastrophe", "guilty": Grambusch inconsolable after shattered European Championship dream

In his home country, of all places, the captain becomes a tragic hero: The German men's field hockey team failed dramatically in a penalty shootout in the semifinals of the home European Championship. Mats Grambusch was the only shooter to miss - and was inconsolable after the final whistle. The 30-year-old received a lot of encouragement from teammates, spectators and coach Andre Henning. The European Championship dream has been shattered - but bronze is still possible against Belgium on Sunday.
