The oldest person in the world, the French nun André, has died at 118. She had died in her sleep in a nursing home in Toulon, southern France, on Tuesday night. "There is great sadness, but she wanted it, it was her desire to get to her beloved brother. For her it is a release," said a spokesman for the facility . The nun, whose civil name was Lucile Randon, survived two world wars and the Spanish flu.
