Art project "Sacred Shops" in Lübeck churches

Going shopping in church after the service is possible from Saturday in Lübeck (Schleswig-Holstein). Cell phones, tablets, clothes and food will be available for purchase in front of the altar or at the baptismal font. "Holy stores" is what artist Christian Jankowski calls his project. For his selection, he has oriented himself on basic human needs: Clothing, housing, food and communication. It is about the encounter between business and faith and the question of whether and how church and commerce fit together. The Holy Shops are open daily in the four churches in Lübeck until November 5.
