The new Lancia Ypsilon is the first car in a new era for the brand. It heralds the return of the brand, founded in Turin in 1906, to several European countries. Initially presented in the limited special edition Cassina with a 100 percent electric drive, the B-segment model is now also available in Italy with a hybrid version. In Germany, the new Lancia Ypsilon will be available with both drive variants from mid-2025. The new Lancia Ypsilon Cassina Hybrid special model has a three-cylinder petrol engine under the hood, which produces 74 kW (100 PS). The 1.2-liter engine is supported by a 48-volt system. The efficient and sophisticated mild hybrid technology reduces fuel consumption. The Lancia Ypsilon Cassina Hybrid reaches a top speed of 190 km/h and accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 9.3 seconds. The newly developed dual-clutch electric transmission offers six forward gears. An electric motor (belt starter-generator) is integrated into the transmission.
