A particular technical highlight is the innovative S.A.L.A. interface: Sala, Italian for living room, is Lancia's abbreviation for Sound, Air, Light and Augmentation. The system centralizes the audio, air conditioning and lighting functions. For example, it is possible to control the sound specially tuned for the interior of the new Lancia Ypsilon and the eight colors of the ambient lighting by touching a single button or using voice commands. The air conditioning system is equipped with a highly efficient filter that removes up to 99 percent of harmful particles from the intake air, ensuring a healthier and more comfortable interior.
