Ford renews the SUV bestseller Kuga

The successful Ford Kuga receives a comprehensive product upgrade. The SUV model developed in Europe for Europe will be launched from summer 2024 with a refreshed design, further improved connectivity and additional state-of-the-art assistance systems. On the engine side, the bestseller will focus on electrified drives. They combine exceptional fuel efficiency with inspiring temperament. The Kuga PHEV* with plug-in hybrid technology for customers with permanent access to a wallbox or charging station impresses with an all-electric range of up to 69 kilometers. As a full hybrid (FHEV), the all-wheel drive Kuga Hybrid AWD can cover up to 64 percent of its distances in city traffic with zero local emissions and can travel around 900 kilometers on a full tank of fuel. Both model versions can tow braked caravans, boat or horse trailers with a total weight of 2.1 tons - an increase of more than 30 percent and a best value in this segment. The third engine offered by Ford for the new Kuga is a 1.5-liter EcoBoost turbocharged petrol engine with an output of 110 kW (150 PS). With the Kuga PHEV, Ford has led the European sales statistics for vehicles with plug-in hybrid drive in 2021 and 2022. Forecasts for the past year suggest that this market success will be repeated. The ordering process for the new model will start in January 2024.
