The Volkswagen Passat Estate - Assisted Parking

The new Passat Estate will be launched with an enhanced range of state-of-the-art assistance systems. The range of parking assistance systems is new. These include the optional "Park Assist Plus", the "Park Assist Pro" and the memory function for the "Park Assist Pro". Park Assist Pro allows the new Passat Estate to be parked and unparked remotely using a smartphone. If the Passat has the memory function for Park Assist Pro on board, the system can record and save the last 50 meters of a journey if desired. When the VW reaches this position again - for example when entering the carport at home - it offers to take over the parking process. Independent parking is also possible.
