The BMW i7 M70 xDrive - Maximum power development with M Sport Boost function and M Launch Control

источник: AUTOMOTOTV (Glomex)

The engine acting on the rear axle generates a maximum output of 360 kW/489 hp. In precisely controlled interaction with the 190 kW/258 hp electric motor on the front axle, the result is electric all-wheel drive with a system torque of 1,015 Nm in Sport Mode and as much as 1,100 Nm when M Launch Control or the M Sport Boost function is activated. This means that the drive system of the BMW i7 M70 xDrive offers outstanding pulling power. With an impressive acceleration of 3.7 seconds from zero to 100 km/h, the BMW i7 M70 xDrive is the fastest all-electric BMW model. Its top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. The performance characteristics of the drive are also characterized by a continuous power delivery that ensures a rapid increase in speed even in higher speed ranges. With the M Launch Control function, both the drive and traction control are integrated into the engine control unit. This ensures particularly precise metering of the power generated by the electric motors, so that the typical M power characteristics of the drive system can be translated into fascinating performance immediately and without any loss of traction.
