New Hyundai KONA - Over-the-air updates and other digital technologies

The new Hyundai KONA offers next-level connectivity. This includes continuous over-the-air updates. To save time and money, vehicle owners can perform updates to the ECU without having to visit a workshop and are always up to date. Software upgrades of certain functions are also possible "over the air". For even more convenience, the KONA can be locked, unlocked and started via the digital vehicle key using NFC technology on smartphones or smartwatches. The new KONA will be the first Hyundai model to feature the new Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC). It offers advanced graphics and perfect unity between vehicle displays. When parking, the Surround View Monitor (SVM) displays the vehicle from different angles for safe and easy maneuvering, while efficient LED headlights with wide projection illuminate the way. Bose engineers have tuned the eight-speaker Bose Premium Sound System with subwoofer to deliver a comprehensive and immersive listening experience. The Hyundai KONA offers two USB-C charging ports (one with data support) and a 12 V power outlet in the front, as well as two USB-C charging options in the rear. The KONA is also equipped with the latest version of Hyundai's Bluelink® connectivity technology. Bluelink® streaming service for music and videos will be made available at a later date.
