SnowFest Innsbruck celebrates the start of the winter season in freestyle snowboarding and freeskiing

The first snow is expected at the weekend and the new winter season is about to kick off: SnowFest in the heart of Innsbruck from November 24 to 26 will ensure a great atmosphere. In its second edition in the middle of the city, in front of the Tiroler Landestheater, some of the best freestyle snowboarders and freeskiers will thrill the audience with their tricks in the Rock A Rail Contest and the Downtown StreetSki Competition. The focus will be on the 37-metre-long, 17-metre-wide and over 10-metre-high snow ramp with a unique urban setup. From a German perspective, Annika Morgan, competitor at the 2022 Winter Olympics in women's slopestyle, and Leon Gütl (GER), bronze medal winner at the Slopestyle World Cup in Bakuriani (GER), will be battling it out for victory. Austria's colors will be represented by Laura Wallner, also a 2022 Olympian, and Noah Strack in StreetSki. Sarah Höfflin, 2018 Olympic champion in slopestyle, and Valentin Morel are among the most important Swiss representatives in Innsbruck.
