Markus Freistätter (* 1990 in Vienna) is an Austrian actor. Markus Freistätter attended the HTBLuVA Wien 5 Spengergasse from 2005, where he graduated in 2010. After training as a paramedic, he studied acting at the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität from September 2011, successfully graduating in June 2015 In 2013 he appeared at the Theater in der Josefstadt in Filumena Marturano in a production by Thomas Birkmeir, who brought him to the Theater der Jugend, where he portrayed the role of Orazio Zorzotto in the stage version of Nennt mich nicht Ismael! and appeared as Ricky in Freak and as Benka in Kalle Blomquist, among others.
