The new Mazda CX-60 - Driving dynamics - comfort and control on new architecture

The new Mazda CX-60 is based on Mazda's Skyactiv Multi Solution Scalable Architecture. This creates the conditions for the crossover model's powertrain layout of longitudinally mounted front engine and primary rear-wheel drive. The Skyactiv Multi Solution Scalable Architecture not only allows for the integration of the new Rei- hense six-cylinder engines and electrification technologies such as the e-Skyactiv PHEV powertrain and M Hybrid Boost System; it also offers numerous enhancements for a more immersive Jinba Ittai driving experience based on Mazda's human-centric development approach. These include high body rigidity that transmits vehicle feedback to the driver directly and without distortion, seats that help passengers maintain a comfortable and natural posture, a suspension system that stabilizes the vehicle, and the unique Kinematic Posture Control (KPC) to enhance driving stability and control.
