Award for the CUPRA Leon VZ

Clear victory for CUPRA: In the sport auto Award, the CUPRA Leon VZ received almost half of all the votes in its category. This means that the sportiest version of the model takes the victory in the import ranking among production cars in the compact car class over 40,000 euros. Almost 10,000 readers of the trade magazine sport auto had voted. A total of 232 models were voted for across all categories. This is the 30th time that the magazine has had readers vote for the sportiest cars of the year. The vote was held in the summer editions of June, July and August and came to a festive conclusion at the awards ceremony in Stuttgart yesterday, Wednesday. The CUPRA Leon VZ is currently available in two engine variants: on the one hand with the 2.0 TSI with 221 kW (300 hp) and 7-speed DSG, on the other hand with the 1.4 e-HYBRID with 180 kW (245 hp) and 6-speed DSG. The version with the turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine is also available as the exclusive VZ CUP equipment line.
