The ergonomic design of the front pillars, which optimize visibility when cornering, also contributes to this. The raised front edge of the hood also allows the driver to better assess the vehicle's cornering position. Narrower rear pillars make it easier to see over the shoulder and to the rear - ideal, for example, on freeway on-ramps. Rear passengers enjoy more knee room and also better visibility - both to the side and to the front. The lower beltline and larger field of vision have a positive effect here. The Easy Entry function, in which the steering wheel and seat retract when entering and exiting the vehicle, has been extended to include a lowering function, making entry and exit even less stressful.
